First Week of School 2014

Happy first week of school for everyone in the south!  Yes, we go back crazy early but we get out crazy early so it is all a wash in the end.

As many of you know, the first week back is crazy.  Scratch that…the first six weeks back are crazy.  I am still trying to get back into the swing of things and adjust to having a “normal” schedule.

That being said, my posts have been and will be sparse lately.  Hang in there with me while I get adjusted and can get back to a regular posting schedule.

Speaking of school, I LOVE my class and I am really in for a good year.  It has already been less stressful than last year so we are off to a great start!

I weighed today.  I REALLY didn’t want to but I told my accountability partner I would text her my weight on Tuesday and I didn’t.  There really wasn’t any more procrastinating I could do.  I had to weigh so I did.

It was ok.  I will get into specifics later when I do my weekly weigh in.  One thing is for sure…ignorance is NOT bliss.  It will come back to haunt you when you don’t hold yourself accountable…Trust me!  THANK YOU Megan for being my go-to person for weigh in’s.  It is really going to help!

For those of you starting a new school year, I would challenge you to make this a NEW starting point for you too!

You don't need a new year to make a change. All you need is today.

Kids are starting over with a new teacher and a new class, let’s give ourselves the perfect excuse to start fresh and new and start over now.

I know I sure am!

Happy back to school!  Let’s make 2014-2015 school year the best one yet!

If we ‘start’ fresh now with our weight loss/heath goals just imagine where we will be January 1, 2015!!! i’m joining in with a new attitude! I have coasted up and down for 1 1/2 years after losing 76 lbs …seems when i hit the 75 lb loss I started going the other way both in weight and with my ‘program’…(I follow weight watchers still)…and I haven’t been able to get a grip on myself and the program since. You make this journey real and honestly, you give me hope and the belief I can do it. So with the new school year, I will ‘begin’ again to make that scale number go down!!!!!!

I want to add that when I had lost the 76 lbs i still had more to go to reach goal. that was not my goal weight but it put me so close that i could see it in the distance.

      Hi Lauren –

I had to respond to your comment because I am going through the same thing! I lost 75 lbs and then for the past 2 months I have been gaining/losing the same 5 lbs. I still have 60 more to go before I hit my goal, so it is frustrating. I love this blog, though, it is great and helps with motivation. Good luck to you!

I had trouble losing weight too, but I finally found a
system that worked for me and my friends. I have free info about this on this
    site.
