Life is Happening – Weekly Weigh In

I am still alive.  I promise!

I am sorry I have been MIA lately but I think it is like this in the beginning of every school year.  I wish I could be pulled into 100 different directions but I just can’t.  I have to prioritize and do what I can do because I can’t do it all.  So, for now, I have to focus on the jobs that actually pay me money.  Unfortunately, that is not my blog and I know you suffer because I am not around much.

I promise I will try to do better.  I need to take an hour or two at night to just sit down and inspire you somehow…even if I don’t feel inspiring.  You know why?  Because when I inspire you, I inspire myself!  Lord knows I need inspiration lately!

So, let me somewhat catch you up on my life.

Weekly Weigh In September 7, 2014

I lost 0.2 last week.  Considering I spent the weekend in the mountains with my family last weekend and I ate my fair share of goodies, I was ok with this.  ANY loss for me is good.  I will take it.

I have not been exercising.  I haven’t made time.  Here is how my current schedule looks:

Monday – Up at 5:45 a.m. at work by 7:00.  Leave work at 3:25 and tutor until 5:30.

Tuesday – Up at 5:45 a.m. at work by 7:00.  Meetings at work until 4:00 and tutor until 6:30.

Wednesday – Up at 5:45 a.m. at work by 7:00.  Leave work at 2:45 and tutor until 5:30.

Thursday – Up at 5:45 a.m. at work by 7:10.  Leave work at 3:00 and tutor until 4:00 (my early day!!)

Friday – No tutoring after work but this is the day I spend time with my mom.  Family is so important, especially my parents.

The weekends are spent with family, cleaning, or working on getting things ready for the next week.  Then, on Monday, it all starts over.

Work is very demanding this year.  I am our fifth grade team leader which are added responsibilities.  We have to email our lesson plans in each week so they must be perfect.

Oh…and I have a husband who likes for me to spend time with him when I finally do walk in the door each night.

So, exercise, blogging, clean eating, etc…have been somewhat on the back burner.  I will try to do better.  I promise!

My goal for this month is to post three times a week.  Sunday to Sunday, three times.  I think I can do that!  That sounds reasonable.  I have some pretty exciting things to tell you about anyway…like this:

Keurig 2.0

I got a new Keurig from the program I am in, Influenster.  I love it and I did a whole video to show you why.

I also made some yummy pumpkin muffins today and I will share that recipe with you – yes, they are light!

Did you know that September is breakfast month?  I have a fun “Brinner” (Breakfast for Dinner) post with a giveaway this month.

I am off week after next (headed out of town with my BFF and her four sidekicks) so hopefully I will have some time to catch up on some past blog posts I never did!

I am super excited to start a September Slim Down Dietbet.  I think this is going to be just what I need to kick start seriously losing weight again!  Nothing like money as a motivator.

I say all of that to beg you, hang in there with me.  Life will slow down, it always does.  When it does, I will be back regularly.  I wish there were at least two of me but there isn’t so I can only do what I can do.

I am still fighting this fight and trying harder than ever to become healthy once again.  What has been going on in your world?  I promise, I miss you all terribly and can’t wait to post more often!
