Okay people! I’m back. Tomorrow will be the first day in two weeks that I will be home ALL day. Amazing, isn’t it. That’s what vacation and working will do to you!
Now, for my vacation update! As most of you know, I went to Florida last week with one of my best friends. We went to visit her parents for the week. They cook amazing meals and have TONS of snacks around for the kids. So, it is temptation city! Well, my plan was to exercise daily and be VERY careful what I ate. Now, you ready for the update!?!?!?
I LOST 0.4 POUNDS when I weighed in at Weight Watchers Monday night!
Amazing, isn’t it? I was truly amazed! Who goes on vacation and doesn’t gain weight? Well, me apparently. I have to thank Kristen for her support and motivation. She is a constant supporter of mine and I wouldn’t be as successful without her friendship. Thanks, Kristen! Love you!
My biggest tip is to plan! If you are going on vacation and don’t want to gain weight, all you have to do is plan what you are going to do and then stick to your plan. It’s ok to deviate from it once or twice but for the majority of your vacation, stick to the plan.
Speaking of plan, I made a commitment to “Can” the can and not drink anymore soda until Labor Day. No one committed to do it with me so my ship sailed alone. And…I have done it. I have not had one diet soda or carbonated beverage since July 4. I don’t know that I can tell a big difference yet but it takes a while for your body to adjust so we will see how I feel in another month. I do have to say though my headaches were outrageous at first. It took a good week or two for the headaches to go away. August will be another month without soda. We shall see how it goes!

The thing I love the most is that it keeps those wisps of hair out of your face while you workout!
