No One Said It Would Be Easy

Im not telling you it is going to be easy. I am telling you it is going to be worth it.

Weight loss is hard.

Period.

If anyone tells you otherwise, they haven’t lost very much weight.

It will take commitment.

Lots of commitment.

It will take perseverance.

Lots of perserverance.

It will take patience.

Lots of patience.

I sure wish some of these “magic pills” would work.  I sure wish you could sprinkle some powder on your food and drop lots of weight.  I sure wish you could drink two milkshakes a day, eat a small dinner and you would feel full and satisfied.  I sure wish you could take a pill and have the pizza you ate disappear and not count as calories.  I sure wish you could put some pregnancy hormones under your tongue and lose weight FOREVER.

I sure wish it was just-that-easy.

Hypes and gimmicks.  They might work for a little while but lasting weight loss?!?  Don’t think so!

But, if you stick with it long enough, you WILL see success.

That I can promise you.

It takes hard work, patience, commitment, and perseverance.  And never, never, never giving up.

What weight loss gimmick or fad have you tried?

I’m a Weight Watchers repeat offender. I’ve reached my goal weight (again) and recently became a lifetime member (again). I think I’ve learned some important lessons I missed out on the first time around. I cannot go back to eating unhealthy and expect to maintain my weight, and exercise makes all the difference. I’m about to start training as a Weight Watchers employee and I’m SO EXCITED about the privilege of helping others strive to meet their weight loss goals. LOVE your site!

So true! Unfortunately, I’ve tried most of them hoping for a quick fix-big fail!

    Hi
Really thanks for inspiring for weight loss. Everyone knows its hard to get of from that extra fat of your body. Truly said it needs hard work, patience, commitment, and perseverance only then one can commit positive consequences on it.

I have tried the pills, and of course I saw no difference as I didn’t eat any different or workout more. But now that I am working out I am down 10 pounds in little over a month. I thank inspirational blogs like this that make me want to share my own success on my own blog! Nice kick in the pants post!

I am currently a weight watcher drop out for the umpteenth time. I am considering doing Jenny Craig. Although I know weight watchers will work if I do it.

Well the only thing that worked for me were the hcg drops which you read about on my blog yourhcgreview(dot)com. But before that I tried p90x, the raw food diet (just fruits and veggies…yeah it was not good!) took up running, low carbs, etc. Ugh. The hcg drops were not “easy” but they did help with the hunger pains. No easy way out, but it is worth it for sure!
