Week of March 6 2014 Goals – Weekly Weigh In

I told you all in my post yesterday that two things were going to happen today.

1.  I was going to weigh this morning.  I didn’t want to but I did.  I stepped on the scale to face reality for the first time in a month.  Here it is…the ugly truth:

Weekly Weigh In March 6, 2014

I am really not happy with that number.  I knew it was coming.  I knew I was back into the 200’s and I am not happy about it.  I am also not happy about how tight and unflattering all of my clothes are.  So sad and I can’t seem to get a handle on it.  I sure hope setting weekly goals will work.

2.  I am going to make weekly goals to take baby steps.

Here are my weekly goals for today through next Thursday:

  • TRACK – I will track in My Fitness Pal for five out of the next seven days.  No matter what I put in my mouth, I will track it.  I know of a few challenges this week but I NEED to track to help myself stay accountable.
  • PLAN – I will plan out all of my meals, shop for them, prep for them and then execute them.  The only time I plan to eat out is tomorrow night for my sister’s birthday.  We are going to PF Chang’s.  I will plan what I am going to eat and then I will stick to that plan!  For the rest of the week, I will make meals and plan ahead to be successful!
  • WALK – I will walk three days this week for at least 20 minutes.  The weather this weekend and next week are supposed to be beautiful….sunny and in the high 60’s.  My plan is to walk on Saturday AND Sunday and then again on Monday (hopefully with my mom after school) and then again on Wednesday.  With the weather this pretty, it should be easier to get out there and I always feel better when I do.

The main event this week is my sister’s birthday!  Happy Birthday to the most amazing, beautiful, fabulous sister in the world.  I am so thankful that you are starting your journey to be a healthier sister so I can have you around for a long, long time!

Other than her birthday, we are pretty low key this week.  I should see some success and see that number on the scale start moving in the right direction.  I know one thing, no matter what I need to be accountable to SOMEONE for my weigh in’s.  If it isn’t a Weight Watchers center, it needs to be YOU.

How are you planning to be successful this week?
