January 2019 – Goals

It’s a new month.  It’s a new year.  It’s time for some goal setting.

If any of you have been with me for a while you know I’m all about setting goals.  I KNOW how important setting goals are and I will set goals monthly in order to keep myself focused on what I want in the end – weight loss and health.

For January, I want to:

*Write down all of the foods I eat!  Journal, journal, journal.

*Weigh in three times a week.  I know that seems like a lot but it is all about accountability.  If that is not for you, that’s ok.  I am going to try it and see what happens.

*Cook more and eat out less.  I am hesitant to put a number on this because we eat out sooooo much.  I would love to cook every night but I am not sure that is realistic for us.  So…I will say only eat out twice a week.  That includes grabbing something from any place outside of our home.  If I don’t cook it, it is eating out.

*Drink more water – My goal is 64 ounces a day.  Let’s start with the minimum I should be getting and work my way up from there.

*One non-weight loss goal is to de-clutter.  I have already begun with closets and rooms but we are hoping to move in the next few years and want to make sure we don’t move any non-necessities!  That will mean I need to GET RID OF JUNK!  I’m excited about this one!

Ok…there are my January goals.  Short and sweet.  Did you make resolutions or goals?  What are they?
