Some Splainin’ To Do – Weekly Weigh In

I am still here! I promise I haven’t left you!

Working a full time job and a part time job, there are going to be “those weeks.” This week was on of “those weeks!” Busy, busy, busy.

I was busy making tutus for this:

Read Across America Day at my school. We dressed like Pinkalicious, Silverlicious, and Purplicicous. And…I made two of the three tutus! They were actually pretty easy, just time consuming.

And I tutored…a lot this week! Thank the Lord!

And my mom bought a “new to her” car so of course we had to go show it off at my sister’s house one night.

My nights were jam packed and it was a great week but I neglected you…I’m sorry!

I did go weigh on Monday. Yep…I did like I told you I would.

Here are the results:

Weight Watchers Weigh In February 25

Do not let the “looks” of it deceive you. That little bit of a loss. It isn’t really what it appears.

Look the weigh in before. See that BIG jump up?

That was my weigh in after my Valentine’s Day dinner. I “forgot” to tell you about that! Not really. I was sad. It wasn’t a day I normally weigh in and I just knew that I would lose it before I weighed in again. It wasn’t a big deal.

It is a big deal. I can’t wait to get off this freakin’ roller coaster of gain, lose, gain lose and just lose, lose, lose. It’s ridiculous.

Good news…I start my Crossfit training on Monday. I will go for an assessment and get my healthy eating plan and I am SO EXCITED!

In the meantime, I am off to spend the weekend with my husband at a marriage seminar our church is hosting and then the rest of the weekend will be spent with many of the people I love the most…my family!

Have a great weekend!

I just found your blog it looks really cool. I need more pure weight loss blogs for my reading! I will be interested to see how the crossfit goes.

Girl … you are doing fantastic. We your readers are soooo proud of you. It would be really nice if our weight loss journeys were all on the downward, but if you talk to others who have lost a lot of weight (as you have!) – there are stalls! Plateaus! Gains! Lack of Motivation! It will be that much sweeter when you can get past this point and lose the weight you want, because you will know how hard you worked and what it took to get there.

I wonder if you would consider taking the 160 goal off your ww app and making it 185? And the once you get there, 180, and so on? The last leg of the journey is always the biggest mind game, and sometimes I think we look at the lower number and think “I have sooo far to go!” without having the presence of mind to look behind us and see how far we’ve COME (and look at your starting weight, girl! WOW! You’re doing AMAZING!). Deffo take that with a grain of salt though. We all gotta figure out what is best for us.

Excited to hear about the crossfit and food stuff! Keep us posted! And as a parting note … never, ever forget to (as Joel Osteen’s wife says) ‘put yourself on the list”!!! Jane
