I’ve got good news and I’ve got bad news. Which one do you want first?
The bad news?
Why do people always want the bad news first? Oh well…bad news it is.
I gained 1.4 pounds last week.
Blah.
Ready for the good news?
I LOST 1 pound the week before:
So, in two weeks I gained 0.4 pounds. I don’t like a gain. I don’t like a gain at all. However, it is what it is. I know what I am doing wrong. I talked about it three weeks ago when I had a BIG gain.
I know weight loss is going to go up and down but I don’t like the roller coaster that it seems to be. I don’t like the up and down, up and down. I don’t like the “heartbeat” that you call it. But, for some reason I don’t NOT like it enough to exercise every day and eat right.
Hmmmmm….makes you wonder.
How bad do you want it?
Do you want it badly enough to give up something?
Do you want it badly enough to inconvenience yourself?
Do you want it badly enough to say “NO” to someone or something in order to say “YES” to yourself?
Do you want it badly enough to say “NO” to the cookies offered to you?
Do you want it badly enough to say “YES” to the extra workout in the morning and less sleep?
Do you want it badly enough to cook dinner when you want to go home and sit on the couch?
Do you want it badly enough to cut up fresh fruit instead of buying packaged snacks?
Do you want it badly enough to take your lunch instead of going out to eat with coworkers?
Do you want it badly enough to eat veggies even when you hate them?
How bad do you want to lose weight and fit into those clothes hanging in your closet?
I want to hear your “bad” statements. Leave me a comment with the beginning quote, “Do you want it badly enough to…”
This week, let’s want it BAD. What do you say?
