"Splash" Olive Oil
My hubby and I went to the Elijay Apple Festival this past October. We love walking around and checking out all the crafts and smelling the yummy food and people watching. This year, while we were there, we saw a booth with a nice, friendly, “Weight Watchers” sign so I went over to check it out. Here, we met two lovely ladies from Florida who were selling Olive Oil. They had samples to try so my husband and I tried their Olive Oil. The bottles read, Vigoa Cuisine “Splash” and holy moly…this stuff was good!
We liked the “Hot Splash” the best and walked away with a bottle to try. When I got home, I couldn’t wait to try it. We have been eating a lot of fish and chicken lately so I was excited to try it on my pan chicken I make (recipe coming soon). I normally just use “regular” olive oil (We need those good fats according to Weight Watchers) but decided to try this new kind for a change.
It was amazing! The herbs gave the chicken a wonderful flavor that regular olive oil just doesn’t do. The kick from the “hot” splash was just enough to give the chicken a little kick without being too hot!
