The entire week last week were all shake days up until Saturday. Saturday and Sunday were the last two cleanse days.
The shake days were pretty uneventful. I had lots of energy, felt great and didn’t ever feel lethargic, tired, weak, etc.
I did choose NOT to run the 6 mile race on Thursday that I had signed up for but that wasn’t really because of the cleanse. It was a combination of LOTS of things. I felt it was the best decision for my husband and I so we went with it. We are thankful we did.
I could totally do the shake days for a 30 day cleanse. That’s how easy it was. I enjoyed not having to think about what to eat for breakfast and lunch. Then, at dinner time, I just kept my meals around 400-600 calories. That’s it. Easy Peasy.
The cleanse days are a little harder. No food at all. Just a Cleanse Drink and small snacks. I have done deep cleanses before so I could handle the two days with relative ease. If this were my first time cleansing, it would have been more difficult.
I can’t believe I forgot to tell you about these IsaDelight Plus chocolates.
I am so thankful that Shannon sent me these with the cleanse. They saved my sweet tooth. They are made with green tea and give you a little boost and also give you that chocolate fix. Plus, they are super delicious! These made the 11 days much more bearable!
Now, I know what you all want. The results. Before I give you stats, let me tell you how I FEEL because we all know that is more important than any number on a scale!
I feel amazing!
I feel thinner than I have since I got to 100 pounds down. My clothes all fit great! I put on a pair of pajamas that were too snug at Christmas and they fit perfectly! I can tell I lost inches and I know I lost pounds. Now, down to the numbers:
And my weight on Monday morning:
BAM! 11.8 pounds down in 11 days. I will take it!
Now for the measurements:
- Neck: Down 1/4 inch
- Arms: Up 1 inch (Muscle…)
- Chest: Down 1 1/2 inches
- Abdomen: Down 4 1/4 inches (HOLY CRAP!)
- Hips: Down 2 inches
- Thigh: Down 3/4 inches
Total Inches Lost: 8 3/4 inches!
Now, for the photo:
I know the pictures are a little different because for some reason my pants were pulled higher in the after photo. However, I can see more definition in my belly which is where I need more definition. Also, my arms look smaller and I can tell in my neck too!
Would I do it again? In a heartbeat. Would I recommend it to others? Yes! Is it expensive? Yes. Is it worth it? As long as the weight stays off. I will keep you updated!
Now, the big question, “How do you plan to keep the weight off now that the cleanse is over?” I have asked that question to myself also. I am going to go immediately back to counting Weight Watchers points plus. I am also going to add some cardio in along with Crossfit. Even if it is just a walk around the hood at night with the hubs and the dog. Hopefully counting points strictly and putting in a little extra cardio will help keep those pounds off and continue to lose even more!
