Frank’s Buffalo Crock Pot Chicken – Recipe

Mmmmm….Frank’s!

It is football season and you know what that means…buffalo wings.  I love buffalo wings.  I love all kind of buffalo wings except hot, hot wings.  Any flavor will do.  When I have a wing craving, I am in big trouble if I give in.  I am in big trouble because buffalo wings are 3 points plus EACH!  That is not happening.

I stumbled across a recipe for Buffalo chicken in the crock pot on Skinny Crock Pot’s Facebook page.  It was super easy and super yummy and super low in Weight Watchers Points Plus.  So, if you love buffalo wings, you have to try this.

After cooking the chicken, you could put it on some bread with blue cheese crumbles and make a sandwich out of it (YUMMY) or put it in a pita pocket with blue cheese and some light dressing.  You could also put it on lettuce and make a salad out of it.  How about a buffalo chicken pizza?  The possibilities are endless!  Enjoy!

 

Frank’s Buffalo Chicken

Ingredients:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 bottle of Frank’s Hot Sauce (I used buffalo wing flavor)

1 packet Hidden Valley Ranch dry mix

Put chicken breasts in the bottom of the crock pot.  Sprinkle the dry ranch mix on the chicken breasts.  Pour the entire bottle of hot sauce over the chicken.  Cover and cook on high for 4 hours or low on 6 hours.  Shred the chicken up like you would for barbecue.  Enjoy every bite!

    I had this in my crock pot all ready to go this morning…and when I plugged it in, it blew up! Sparks flew! Eek!! Do you have any idea if I can bake it instead? Thanks :)

    I found this on Pinterest last week and tried it…it was really good! I think I used the original Frank’s, but I only put in 1 cup instead of the whole bottle because I was afraid it was going to be insanely spicy (which I don’t like) and I’m glad that I did because it was just spicy enough! I will definitely have to try out the buffalo wing flavor. It was crazy easy…I think 6 hours is too long on low…mine was a little chewy only cooking it for 4:15. I served it in corn tortillas and it was awesome!

    Hi i’m going to try this but i’m broke and I don’t have the ranch mix is that ok? As anyone tried it with out? Or what can I use instead? Please help
