14 Day Challenge – Bring It!

14-Day Challenge

14-Day Challenge

For those of you who know me, you know I am VERY competitive!  I mean VERY!  The first weight loss competition I was in, I rocked.  So, when Jen, a Prior Fat Girl, proposed a challenge, I was in.  The challenge is a Steppin’ It Up challenge where the person who covers the most distance in two weeks will be put in a drawing for a free Polar FT7.  I have been wanting one of these so I decided to take on the challenge.

Yesterday was day one and I started out strong with walking 3.25 miles.  Today was not so easy.  I had a hard time getting on the treadmill tonight after a long past few days.  When I got home, I immediately changed into my workout clothes so there was no excuse.  After changing, I ate dinner and fell asleep actually sitting up on the couch (yes, my husband thought it would be funny to video me and send it to my sister…thanks honey!).  When I woke up, I really didn’t want to get on the treadmill but I knew if I missed even one day, there is no way I would win.  So, up I went…and I did it!  I ended up going 3.5 miles today!  Yeah!!  My goal is over three miles every day.

Here is where you come in.  I need your help!  I am going to grow weary of working out every day and I need your encouragement!  Please encourage me via this site, Facebook, or email! Keep me going so I can be one of the six put in the drawing to win!  I will do the work if I can just get my booty on the treadmill!  Can you help me win?

About

My name is Jennifer, I’m 33 and I currently live in a suburb outside of Atlanta. I live with my husband, Jason and Shi-tzu, Maggie. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
My full time job is teaching elementary school. My part time job is private tutoring after school for grades K-6. I have been on my weight loss journey my entire life but just began to take it seriously two years ago when I decided it was time to start a family. I didn’t want to be one of those people who others look and and say, “Is she pregnant or just really fat?” At the rate I was going, that question would certainly be asked. So, two years ago I joined Weight Watchers. Now, closing in on losing 100 pounds, my life is healthier and I am happier. Now…bring on the baby!
My blog is here for you to be inspired, learn something new, and hear all about all new products I try. Join me on this weight loss journey as I go through ups and downs, good and bad, and continue to take it one day at a time!
